Arizona Project WET (APW) is excited to be back in classrooms bringing hands-on groundwater presentations to students! With refreshed and updated materials, we’re helping kids dive into the science of water through interactive activities that spark curiosity and build real-world connections.

Our lessons spotlight the unique beauty of Arizona’s water. Younger students will explore the Santa Cruz River, learning how it shapes our communities, ecosystems, and history. Older students will dig deeper into Arizona’s water supply, with a focus on the Central Arizona Project (CAP) system and why it’s such a vital lifeline for our state.

Beyond the classroom, APW is thrilled to be part of local STEM Nights, where families and communities come together to celebrate science, technology, engineering, and math. These events are a great way to connect students’ classroom learning to the wider world and inspire the next generation of water stewards.

With engaging lessons and meaningful community connections, APW is proud to continue making water education come alive across Arizona!
