A World of Water
On Thursday, February 12, WRRC welcomed colleagues and guests to share chocolate treats and to celebrate the finalists of the 2025 Photo Contest. Winning photos were selected within several categories. Best in Show went to Sue Darlington, Kittiwakes at Calving. In the Nature and Landscapes category, the winner was David Quanrud with Sweetwater Headwaters. The winning photograph in the Wildlife category was Dots on Sand by Ercin Erturk, taken in Sinop, Turkey. Trever Pontiflex provided the winner in The Built Environment category with the photo Don’t Zoom Out. Finally, the winner of the People and Pets category was Kar Kohinoor’s photo, Horseshoe Bend.
