The WRRC Annual Photo Contest is back! This year’s theme is Water In Focus. Use your artistic and technical abilities to express how water transforms our world and how people transform water. From ANY LOCATION, we invite you to show us how water connects to people, nature, the built environment, and agriculture. It's completely up to you. Just make sure your photos relate to water and that you indicate where each image was taken. We can't wait to see your amazing images! Check out last year's winners.

All submissions must be received on or before Dec. 18, 2026.
Who Can Enter?
- The photo contest is open to anyone high school aged or older on or before Friday, Dec. 18, 2026 (the contest submission deadline).
- For high school students under 18, permission from a parent or guardian is required to submit any photos.
- Employees of the Water Resources Research Center and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Recognition
Winners will be announced at the 2027 Chocolate Fest in February (Date TBD), and winning photographs will be featured on the WRRC website. Photo Contest images may be used by the WRRC (and with WRRC's permission, its affiliates) on websites, publications, and outreach materials for educational and promotional purposes.
